YellowIronDirect is an owner-operated equipment store built on one idea: buyers of skid steer attachments, mini-ex gear, tracks, and implements deserve to see every legitimate path to the equipment they need — with real prices, real lead times, and real trade-offs — and pick for themselves.
Sometimes that path is a US brand's warehouse, at dealer price, at your door this week. Sometimes it's the same class of gear straight from the factory that builds it, at 30–50% less, if you can wait. Sometimes it's splitting a shipping container with five other buyers. We run all three lanes in one store and tell you honestly which one fits your situation — including when the answer is "buy the dealer version."
What makes us different is what we show you
- We publish the cost math. On factory-direct products you can see the factory price, the freight, the duty, and our margin. No one else in this industry shows you their margin. We'd rather you see what we make than wonder what we're hiding.
- We name the origin on every product. Monterrey, Mexico. Sri Lanka. India. Sometimes China. Country and lead time on every page, never buried. Hiding origin is what sketchy importers do.
- We tell you when not to buy from us. Need same-day service and a loaner from a local dealer? Go get it. That honesty is the only reason to believe the rest of what we say.
What we're not
- Not a team of experts. There's one owner — Jason — plus vetted factories, licensed customs brokers, freight partners, and a well-built AI support agent that answers fitment and order questions around the clock. When something goes wrong, Jason personally handles the claim. No invented staff page, no stock-photo "support team."
- Not a manufacturer. We don't build anything. We source it, spec it, inspect it, and route it to you the cheapest legitimate way.
- Not a gray-market operation. Every import clears customs on a real entry with real duty paid. Authorized-dealer products are exactly that — authorized. No dual invoices, no games.
- Not faking reviews. Verified purchases only, negatives left up with our response. When the store is new and there aren't many yet, you'll see that too.
How a one-owner store runs a three-lane operation
Automation, honestly applied. Order milestones, inspection photo delivery, container fill status, and support answers run on software the owner built and maintains. The judgment calls — claims, refunds, supplier vetting, anything involving your money going the wrong direction — are handled by a human, within one business day.
